Welcome back to the second edition of Trash-talk: A Toronto Raptors gossip column. Here we discuss everything that happened with the Toronto Raptors outside the actual game of basketball.

Week one came and went, the Toronto Raptors enjoyed a ring ceremony in front of adoring fans while unveiling the championship banner. Whoever designed the banner, should probably get a ring, too, because the banner itself is unbelievably elegant with the red trimming surrounding the black with white lettering that boasts, “Toronto Raptors 2019 World Champions.”

The other Toronto Raptors got their rings and subsequently ground out a win over the New Orleans Pelicans. The Toronto Raptors capped off their week with 112-106 loss to the Boston Celtics on Friday and a 108-84 win over the Chicago Bulls on Saturday.

But, this isn’t a column to dive deep into basketball. In fact, it has everything to do with the Toronto Raptors except basketball.

Before the week began, Serge Ibaka teamed up with Bleacher Report for an episode of How Hungry Are You? and hosted an outspoken Kevin Durant. On the court, Kyle Lowry mistakenly tucked in his hoodie to his sweatpants at the ring ceremony and Marc Gasol and Ibaka couldn’t help but be distracted by the humongous, diamond-studded rings they just received. Lastly, the faithful global ambassador, Drake, earned himself a ring, who then proceeded to make a duplicate to his own liking.

As always, we want you, the reader, to feel involved! So, what was the funniest thing you saw last week? Is there something you think we missed? What had you laughing the most over the course of the week? Please, feel free to tag @RaptorsRapture or @HughesWithMe on Twitter if you find some hidden gold or message us directly with video or photographs.

Without further ado, onto the Trash-talk.
