Bench Grades

B-. His double-double run might have come to an end against the Thunder a few games ago, but Ibaka still brings a presence that not many big men off the bench can bring. He provided scoring but struggled on some easier looks, still, he won his matchup and continues to give his all for the Raptors. It’s not rare to see him labour on a back-to-back, though.. Center. Toronto Raptors. SERGE IBAKA

Shooting Guard. Toronto Raptors. NORMAN POWELL. A. At what point do we start to consider Norman Powell for Sixth Man of the Year honours? He had his fourth 20-point game in a row and killed the Timberwolves bench in his minutes. The consistency we’re seeing from Powell equates to him playing the best basketball of his career right now. It’s great to see, and he was impressive in this win.

C+. Only took — and made — one shot in his 21 minutes on the court, spending most of the time as a spot-up option or an off-ball runner. Not much left to say about his offensive game, but if he isn’t getting the looks, then there’s even less to say. Defensively, he was fierce, adding three blocks with some active hands. No complaints there. 11 more minutes than <a href=. Shooting Guard. Toronto Raptors. PATRICK MCCAW

Toronto Raptors. RONDAE HOLLIS-JEFFERSON. B. A great game defensively from <a href=. Power Forward
