Starters Grades

Pretty tough shooting night for Lowry, who didn’t make a single three-pointer. But, like the star he is, he still found a way to get his points, even on a 5-of-12 shooting night. It was all about getting to the line and throwing himself into the Sixers defenders, using everything to his advantage for 6-of-9 shooting from the line. Defensively, he was sound too. You’ll take that.. Point Guard. Toronto Raptors. KYLE LOWRY. B+

Point Guard. Toronto Raptors. FRED VANVLEET. A+. Oh jeez, what a second-half performance by Fred VanVleet. His shooting was as dominant as ever, making 5-of-6 from three-point range in the second half, adding 15 points and a further five assists to his total tally of 22 points and eight assists. A huge factor in the Raptors closing out this game, FVV is as clutch as ever.

D. This is what I’ve been saying – those inconsistencies on offense don’t look so bad when <a href=. Small Forward. Toronto Raptors. OG ANUNOBY

B. Siakam has struggled on offense since returning from injury, and this game followed that trend as he finished with 18 points on 8-of-23 shooting from the field and 1-of-8 from three. The man is so good at attacking the rim, it should be his first point of call. That’s why it’s frustrating to see him settle for the jump shot sometimes. If Furkan Korkmaz is switched onto him: ATTACK! A huge part of the Raptors defensive identity in this game, though.. Power Forward. Toronto Raptors. PASCAL SIAKAM

Well, it was an absolutely perfect shooting night from <a href=. Center. Toronto Raptors. MARC GASOL. A
