2021 NBA Mock Draft 2.0: Cade Cunningham goes No. 1, Toronto Raptors add a star

Bouknight is extremely explosive, and he has the pretty long-range shot, slick passing, and sharp defending that teams in the league want to see now. On a team like New Orleans that could see an already thin backcourt hurt even more by losing Lonzo Ball in free agency, Bouknight could step right in and produce.
Zion Williamson is doing his thing down low, and Brandon Ingram is one of the rising stars in the game. The Pelicans already have Kira Lewis and Nickeil Alexander-Walker on the books, but Bouknight might be the best of all three, as his skills as a ball-handler, penetrator, and defender could turn him into an instant starter and tertiary scorer ahead of Eric Bledsoe.
Mitchell and Jared Butler were the driving forces behind Baylor dominating Gonzaga in the national championship, but Mitchell appears to be the better pro prospect of the two. A dominant defender, Mitchell is a quality shooter with solid court vision and an ability to create his own shot and get to the rim.
A three-guard lineup alongside Domantas Sabonis and Myles Turner could help the Pacers return to the playoffs. With Malcolm Brogdon and Mitchell taking turns at point guard and Caris LeVert at the wing, Nate Bjorkgren will have Indiana ranked as one of the best shooting teams in the league, and Mitchell could be the difference member in a tough playoff race.
Things are leaking somewhat bleak in Golden State. Klay Thompson hasn’t played in years, Draymond Green is a non-factor on offense, and James Wiseman’s defense hasn’t caught up with his offense. The Warriors will likely add a big in this draft, and Jones might be an option considering how they could develop someone as painfully raw as him.
A late-comer to basketball, Jones wasn’t even one of the top scorers on his college team. Despite that, Jones is the kind of matchup nightmare and high-flier that the Warriors would love, especially if the 6-11 Longhorn develops a post game. Jones and Wiseman could give the Warriors their best frontcourt in years should Green keep declining on offense.
The Spurs are likely to lose DeMar DeRozan this offseason due to his “wide open” free agency, which could facilitate the need for someone like Kispert. While not the best athlete or shot-creator, he is lights-out from beyond the arc, and he could be an offensive cornerstone in San Antonio.
The Keldon Johnson breakout was a nice surprise, and Devin Vassel is starting to look like the player he was expected to be. You have to be able to play defense and shoot efficiently to play for Gregg Popovich, and Kispert’s performance during his final season with Gonzaga makes him an ideal candidate for the Spurs.
