Scottie Barnes

In seemingly every new game, Barnes continues to find new ways to impress Raptors fans and the general NBA media landscape. Despite coming into the league with concerns about his offense, Barnes has been one of the most consistent performers on that end due to his interior finishing.

Barnes and Cleveland’s Evan Mobley might be the two top candidates for the Rookie of the Year title after a handful of games. The Raptors appear to have been vindicated in their decision to draft Barnes over Jalen Suggs.

Grade: A

OG Anunoby

Anunoby has always made his mark as an elite defender and spot-up shooter, but with Siakam on the mend, OG has risen to the occasion and become the scorer Raptors fans knew he could be.

Anunoby is still one of the best defenders in the league on top of being an improved scorer. His sluggish start appears firmly in the past, and Anunoby is ready to lay waste to the rest of the league.

Grade: A-

Toronto Raptors standout OG Anunoby is having a solid season.

Dalano Banton

It’s rare to find a second-round player that does not require extensive G League time right out of the gate in the NBA, and it’s even rarer to find one who displaced a veteran like Dragic in the rotation after five games. Banton’s shooting is a worm in progress, but the defense, athletic skills, and passing have all been solid from Rexdale’s finest.

Grade: B+

Svi Mykhailiuk

Mykhailiuk hasn’t been an amazing defender so far, but he’s provided the bench scoring that Toronto expected when they signed him. His scoring has dipped from last year, but that’s only because he’s getting fewer shots. He’s been everything Toronto thought he would be.

Grade: B
