1. Compete for a play-in spot

The Raptors might be outside of play-in territory at the moment, but they are more than ready to make a hard charge for the postseason. After a tough start to the season, Toronto has proven they have enough talent to compete with teams like the Knicks and Celtics for a spot in the playoffs.

Toronto does have the disadvantage of playing in arguably the best division in the league, meaning that they will have a few more games against title contenders like Atlanta Division rivals Brooklyn and Philadelphia. That may sound daunting, but Toronto has the horses to prove the doubters wrong.

The Toronto Raptors should try for the postseason.

Think about how dominant Barnes has been this season on both ends. Then think about the fact that he is the lowest-scoring member of that starting unit. That group is more than capable of leading this team to a playoff spot over rivals hovering around that middle tier.

Toronto needs to make sure that their young players keep improving, the veterans remain efficient on offense, and the team can avoid any more health scares. Checking those boxes could help them return to the playoffs after one year in the lottery.
