SF. Alabama. Brandon Miller. Pick Analysis. 1. player. 523. Scouting Report

It has been written in the stars for years that Wembanyama was going to be the top selection with Henderson right behind him. Having said that, this is still a very deep draft class, with Miller starting to emerge as the best player in the group outside of those two stars.

Miller’s 19.8 points and 8.3 rebounds per game would be enough to turn the heads of intrigued NBA scouts, but the fact that he’s shooting an absurd 46% on 7.3 3-point attempts per game will make the 6-9 wing one of the most mouthwatering prospects available this season.

The Toronto Raptors need a star like Brandon Miller.

Miller can move wonderfully for someone his size and can handle himself in the paint as well as on the perimeter. Miller’s defense has been improving as the year has gone on, which should help make him an even more attractive option for the length-obsessed Ujiri.

Drafting Miller would not be a “Vision 6-9” move. It would be adding a high-end shooter, versatile defender, and tough post presence that could be on the receiving end of hundreds of Scottie Barnes assists. If the Raptors are in a position to take him, Miller better book his flight to Toronto.
