Solid Tier: Kenny Atkinson, David Adelman, Sergio Scariolo

This tier is full of coaches that Raptors fans should be pleased with. They might be the home run that everyone wants, but all of them could reasonably be expected to lead this team to an above .500 record next season while aiding in player development.

Atkinson was dealt about the worst possible hand a coach could in his early days with the Nets, and he had a D’Angelo Russell-led team above .500 and in the playoffs after just a few years. Following his stint as an assistant in Golden State and interview for the Milwaukee job, Atkinson could be ready for his second go-around.

Will the Toronto Raptors hire Sergio Scariolo?

A legendary national team coaches with decades of consistent winning in Europe, Scariolo brings offensive innovation and experience with this team. However, with the Nick Nurse era over, might it be better to start fresh rather than keep running it back with the same team?

Adelman has played a part in helping the Nuggets make it to the Finals, and he knows what it takes to be a head coach with success in this league due to the fact he is the son of Hall of Fame coach Rick Adelman. Why not give the next generation his first chance before someone else does?
