No. 3: Tyrese Maxey

Tyrese Maxey experienced a true breakout season this past year, stepping into a larger role with the departure of James Harden and proving to be the ideal running mate for MVP Joel Embiid. Maxey averaged 25.9 points and 6.2 assists per game en route to winning the NBA's Most Improved Player award.

Maxey plays at high speeds, pushing the ball in transition and flying off of screens in the halfcourt. That speed stretches defenses and opens up opportunities for Maxey to set up teammates, or often to simply get to his spots or the rim himself.

The fit of Maxey and Quickley would be a difficult one on defense, as Maxey is generously listed at 6'2" and Quickley is 6'3". Yet on offense the pairing would be electric, with each able to shoot and experienced playing off of another on-ball star. The Raptors' offensive upside with Scottie Barnes, Maxey and Quickley would be tremendous.

With all of that being said, it's nearly impossible to see a scenario where the Philadelphia 76ers let Maxey walk in restricted free agency and don't match an offer sheet. In fact, they will likely offer Maxey the max and not bother with the risk of a sheet. If anything crazy happens, however, the former college teammates at Kentucky could be an intriguing dream to put together.
