Malachi Richardson – A trip to Europe

Europe is a great place to visit. Spain, Italy, perhaps even France, let’s leave no stone un-turned for young Malachi.

I know what you’re thinking, “Doesn’t he have a job to do? What if he needs to play for the Raptors?” Well, I wouldn’t worry about that too much. With Richardson’s option declined, Toronto has no incentive to develop him, and considering his play in the early parts of the season, the Raptors won’t be playing him for his present value.

With little reason to stay in Canada, Richardson should take a nice trip, perhaps interview with a few teams. It’s always nice to visit a place before you move there.

C.J. Miles – A new ad deal

I’m not a superstitious person. I’m certainly intelligent enough to know that the “Go-Daddy Curse” is not real. But it wouldn’t hurt to give C.J. Miles a new ad deal just in case right?

Delon Wright – More minutes

It’s no secret that Delon Wright has struggled this season. His points, assists, rebounds, and most notably his minutes, have all taken a hit this season. That’s never a good sign for an NBA player. It’s even worse for a player in a contract season.

As a young, talented two-way player entering free agency in a market that will be very player friendly — more than half of the NBA teams are expected to have cap space next offseason– Delon Wright has the opportunity to get PAID.

It will be hard to earn that money playing only 16 minutes per game.  I’m not saying Delon is faultless here. He’s played extremely poorly this season and hasn’t earned significant time on the court.

But ‘Tis the season, and if we’re giving out presents, giving Delon more minutes is a lot easier than giving him the $10 million he may earn with those minutes.
