No. 2: Pascal Siakam

A two-time All-Star and All-NBA selection, it may be tough for fans to see Siakam go. However, with the team potentially heading towards a rebuild, Siakam is the best veteran piece they can use as trade bait to get valuable assets in return with the future in mind. At 29 years old, Siakam is likely at his peak value.

Siakam was selected to his second All-Star game last season, averaging 24.2 points, 5.8 assists, and 7.8 rebounds per game while mainly vacillating between center and power forward. With shooting percentages of 48% overall and 32% from three, Siakam has shown to be solid from an efficiency perspective. He also has a versatile skillset and fits into the modern-day concept of positionless basketball.

Will the Toronto Raptors trade Pascal Siakam?

For any team looking to win now, Siakam is a great trade option as a potential second or third option on a championship roster, given he showed that back in 2019 with the Kawhi Leonard-led Raptors. A team like the Trail Blazers could make a lot of sense, given they have the third overall pick, but seemingly want to build around Damian Lillard rather than rebuild.

Unless a Leonard-caliber player is walking through the door, it seems like trading Siakam could be an important trade for the Raptors to make to kick-start a rebuild.
